The social side of tech

Good stories don’t stop at the headline.

My social media experience includes work with Android Police and XDA through Valnet. It brings an editorial eye and a human voice to the conversation around technology.

The work

Technology stories can be full of details. Social content needs to find the part someone will care about, make it understandable, and give the audience a reason to respond or read further.

My work in tech publishing connects editorial story framing with platform-specific social content, content planning, and audience engagement. It draws on the same storytelling instincts I use in marketing and creator work.

The approach

I look for the useful angle first: what does this story mean for the person on the other side of the screen? Then I adapt the framing and voice to the platform, keep the language clear, and pay attention to the audience’s response.

Areas of experience

  • Platform-specific social content
  • Editorial story framing and caption writing
  • Content planning and trend research
  • Audience engagement
  • Performance review to inform future content

These brands describe my professional experience. The illustrated project card on the portfolio homepage is an original visual treatment of this practice.
